May 2022

It is with excitement and gratitude that the Institute for Security and Technology (IST) announces new funding support for the Ransomware Task Force as it continues to build on the momentum built in its first year.

We are honored to receive additional support from Bank of America, Datto, Inc., Palo Alto Networks, and TRM Labs. These organizations have committed to turning the tide on the ransomware threat—our work would not be possible without the support of philanthropic partners.

IST Announces New Funding to Combat Ransomware

February 2022

Over the last year, ransomware attacks have continued to plague institutions of all sizes—but thanks in part to the timely and comprehensive recommendations of the Ransomware Task Force, more organizations are focused on equipping themselves with the tools and policies needed to counter this threat. From coordinating with government agencies to understanding the role of cryptocurrencies, the recommendations of the RTF Report have already made an impact.

It is with gratitude that the Institute for Security and Technology announces new funding and acknowledges the key financial contributors to the Ransomware Task Force for their support of the broad range of ongoing efforts as the RTF enters its second year.
