Jeff Morris is the Manager, Strategy & Partnerships at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) National Cybercrime Coordination Centre (NC3). As a National Police Service, the RCMP-NC3 works closely with Canadian and international law enforcement partners to coordinate and support ransomware investigations and other policing efforts to combat cybercrime. The NC3 reached initial operating capability in 2020, with planned full operating capability in 2024-2025. Jeff has been a Canadian public servant since 2008, and has focused on RCMP strategic policy and partnership activities to address cybercrime since 2012. Jeff played a lead role in developing the RCMP Cybercrime Strategy, and has contributed to Canada’s National Cyber Security Strategy.
