Jonah Force Hill works at the intersection of quantum technologies, national security, and business. He is currently Head of U.S. Business Development & Government Affairs at Xanadu Quantum Technologies, Inc., a leading quantum computing hardware and software company. He also serves as Co-Director of the Commission on U.S. Quantum Leadership at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and as a Board Member of American University’s Cybersecurity Advisory Council. Previously, he served as Director for Cyber and Emerging Tech on the National Security Council Staff at the White House, where he led presidential initiatives on a range of emerging technologies, including on post-quantum cryptography, next-generation telecommunications, and internet-of-things security. Prior to joining the White House, Mr. Hill served for more than a decade in technology policy roles in the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of State. He holds an MPP and MTS from Harvard University, where he was a International and Global Affairs Fellow, and a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
