Nicole Mays is a Human Resources professional currently serving as the Assistant Human Resources Manager at the Institute for Security and Technology (IST). With a robust background in HR management, she brings a wealth of experience to her role, specializing in key areas that drive organizational success.

In her capacity, Nicole leads the charge in developing and fortifying the Human Resources infrastructure, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the organization’s growth trajectory. She maintains accurate employee records, conducts salary administration, and formulates HR policies that bolster compliance and operational efficiency.

Nicole’s journey in HR is underpinned by eight years of service with distinction in the U.S. Army, where she was recognized for her exemplary leadership and organizational skills by her chain of command. 

After serving in the military, Nicole spent three years in office management across the medical and business sectors. 

Originally from Tacoma, WA, Nicole is a current military spouse and proud mother of four daughters. Personally and professionally, Nicole embodies resilience, adaptability, and dedication.
