Ayyappan is a cybersecurity enthusiast, interested in hacking and securing everything from Wireless, Automotive, IoT security and Critical Infrastructure. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from UMass Dartmouth, and likes researching with SDR’s(Software Defined Radio) which led to the discovery of a vulnerability in millions of vehicles worldwide. 

He has published several high impact CVE’s relating to the automotive and IoT sector, and loves to tinker with every electronic device he can get his hands on. Notably, he has once successfully turned a doorbell into a botnet that rickroll’s visitors. He also helps organize the Car Hacking Village and has presented his work at several international conferences like DEFCON, ROOTCON, BlackHat MEA and more.
