Omesh Agam is a member of the Ransomware Task Force Steering Committee.

Omesh Agam is the Chief Information Security Officer of Chainalysis. He leads the company’s global security team, including security engineering, operations, compliance, and global safety. Omesh has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity. Prior to joining Chainalysis, Omesh served as CISO responsible for Trust and Security at high growth technology companies Celonis and Appian, building both security programs from the ground up, globally. Prior to this he worked in the U.S. Public Sector space as a security consultant and also infrastructure advisory services. He is an active mentor to cybersecurity startup founders and served as an advisory board member to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of George Mason University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in information security.
