Jacqueline Burns Koven is the Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Chainalysis, where she leads the team tracking cybercriminals and nation state actors stealing, scamming, and extorting cryptocurrency. Ms. Koven coordinates global ransomware research, partnerships, and joint initiatives with task forces. Prior to joining Chainalysis, she served in the U.S. Intelligence Community, including in Iraq, and was selected for several interagency assignments. Select awards include the Office of the Director of National Intelligence National Intelligence Professional Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Secretary of Defense Medal for the Global War Against Terrorism, and the Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award. Ms. Koven holds a Masters in Public Administration specializing in Security Policy from Columbia University where she was also a Research Fellow for Technology and Public Policy.
