Rep. Elissa Slotkin

U.S. Representative

Elissa Slotkin is the U.S. Representative for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District, which includes Livingston, Ingham, Clinton, and Shiawassee Counties, as well as portions of Eaton, Oakland, and Genesee Counties.

Having first taken office in 2019, she has been a leading advocate for bringing critical manufacturing back to Michigan, lowering the cost of prescription drugs and healthcare, and strengthening America’s national security, particularly from emerging threats like the Chinese Communist Party.

Prior to serving in Congress, Rep. Slotkin served in various national security roles under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama at the Central Intelligence Agency, White House, and Pentagon, eventually serving as Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs.

A third generation Michigander, Rep. Slotkin spent much of her childhood on her family farm in Holly, MI, and currently lives in Lansing.
