Ross Kadish, CPCU, ARM, ALCM, ARe, LIC, is president of Associated Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) an insurance and risk management consulting firm he founded in 1991. He has over 45 years’ experience in the insurance and risk management fields as a licensed insurance agent/counselor, and risk management consultant. Since 1991, Ross has focused his practice principally on public entity risk management and insurance, particularly for higher education, serving as risk manager and insurance consultant to the Michigan Community College Risk Management Authority (a public entity risk pool) and its 20 member colleges. In this role, he has written and presented on over 100 risk management and insurance topics relevant to higher education in Michigan. Ross is also Vice President of Kadish Financial Group, LLC (an independent insurance agency) and previously, served as Executive Vice President of Associated Group Underwriters, Inc. (an independent property and casualty insurance agency with multiple offices throughout Michigan). In addition, Ross taught risk management classes helping individuals from all over the country in diverse industries prepare for national examinations leading to the “Associate in Risk Management certification/designation.
