Steven M. Kelly
Special Assistant to the President & Senior Director for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technology National Security Council (NSC)
Mr. Kelly serves as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technology, returning the NSC staff after having previously served during the Obama administration. Mr. Kelly is a Supervisory Special Agent on detail from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where he most recently served as the Chief of Cyber Policy. Over his two-decade tenure, Mr. Kelly has served in various cyber program roles in both the field and FBI headquarters, including investigations, private sector and international engagement, strategy/policy, and leadership. Prior to his government service, Mr. Kelly practiced as a registered professional engineer.
