Tory Igoe is a Future of Digital Security Associate at the Institute for Security and Technology (IST). In her work, she focuses on the resiliency of cyber-physical systems under UnDisruptable27 and supports the Ransomware Task Force on their Victim Notification Project. Her research interests center around securing critical infrastructure from nation-state actors, in addition to cyber diplomacy and cyber foreign policy.
Tory recently graduated from Georgetown University with an M.S. in Foreign Service, concentrating in Science, Technology, and International Affairs and Persian language. She also holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University. Prior to joining IST, Tory worked as a Coordinating Security Specialist at an international crisis management firm where she conducted risk analyses for 52 countries and supported evacuation operations in conflict zones. She also participated in the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship, where she undertook Persian language training in Tajikistan.
