Daniil Zhukov

Daniil Zhukov is a War Studies MA candidate at King’s College London and a 2024 Nuclear Risk Reduction Fellow at the Council on Strategic Risks (CSR). He currently participates in the Crisis Communications Resilience Working Group at the Institute for Security and Technology (IST) and in the Young Deep Cuts Commission (YDCC). Dan previously worked at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) as Rose Gottemoeller’s research assistant, supporting a range of projects related to nuclear arms control and US-Russian relations. He was also a 2022 Nuclear Scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Project on Nuclear Issues. Dan was born in Russia and received his BA in History and Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
