Introducing the Religious Voices and Responsible AI Curriculum: Sharing Muslim Perspectives

November 9, 2026 | 12:00 pm ET / 9:00 am PT

How can Islamic perspectives contribute to our understanding of artificial intelligence’s impact on how humans interact with technology, society, and one another? On November 9 at 9 am PT, join a webinar with authors of the curriculum to learn more.

How can Muslim perspectives contribute to our understanding of artificial intelligence’s impact on how humans interact with technology, society, and one another? Over the course of the last 12 months, non-profits AI and Faith and the Institute for Security and Technology have worked with religious scholars, educators, and organizations to develop faith-based curriculum and resources for Muslim and Christian communities.

By providing religious leaders and members of local religious communities with resources on what AI is, and what guidance their faith offers on AI, the Religious Voices and Responsible AI effort aims to help people to more effectively participate in policy discussions on the risks and opportunities posed by developing AI.

On Monday, November 9 at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET, join members of the curriculum drafting team, as well as individuals who were involved in implementing pilots of the curriculum materials, to learn more about: Why did AI and Faith and IST create this course? How can the course be effective as a point of discussion for local communities? And what are practical steps that facilitators can take to prepare for and implement the course? After the webinar, attendees will  be empowered to use the curriculum in their local communities.
