Alex Orleans is the Head of Threat Intelligence at Sublime Security. With over a decade of experience in cyber threat intelligence, he has specialized extensively in Iranian state-nexus cyber operations across senior roles at CrowdStrike Intelligence — where he managed the company’s Targeted Intrusion mission — and FireEye (now Mandiant). His research on Iranian cyber operations has been presented at CYBERWARCON, and his work on counterintelligence topics has been published in CIA’s Studies in Intelligence. He is also an adjunct lecturer on cyber operations at the Alperovitch Institute for Cybersecurity Studies at Johns Hopkins SAIS.
