Kiran Sridhar is a member of the IST Board of Directors.
Kiran Sridhar is the cofounder and CEO of a stealth mode startup. Previously, he was the VP and Head of Strategy at Resilience, a cyber risk management company that insures 14% of US enterprises with over $1 billion in revenue. Before that, he served as the Head of Investor Relations for Shield Capital, a venture capital fund, where he led the raise of its $185 million Fund I.
Kiran also serves on the board of Aravind Eye Foundation, which supports the largest eye care network in India. He is a Senior Fellow at the McCrary Institute for Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure at Auburn University and the co-editor, with Michael Boskin and John Rader, of Defense Budgeting for a Safer World: The Experts Speak, a book published by the Hoover Institution Press. His writing has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Foreign Affairs, National Review, and the Journal of Corporate Finance, among other outlets.
Kiran received a BA in economics with honors and distinction from Stanford University; a master’s from Tsinghua University, where he was a Schwarzman Scholar; and a master’s in operations management from Cambridge University, where he was a Gates Cambridge Scholar.
