Patricia Jaworek is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Andrew Carnegie AI-Nuclear Policy Accelerator

Patricia Jaworek is a Director with NTI’s Global Nuclear Policy Program, where she works to reduce nuclear risk and strengthen the global nonproliferation and disarmament regime, with a focus on Euro-Atlantic security and engagement with the Global South. She supports NTI’s work on emerging technological risks—including AI and space—and leads initiatives to advance understanding of the global and long-term consequences of nuclear weapons use. Jaworek has advised and briefed senior government officials, international expert panels, and Members of Congress on nuclear policy issues, and leads Track 1 and 2 dialogues on nuclear risk reduction and arms control.

Previously, she held positions at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Brussels, focusing on NATO deterrence and defense policy, and at CRDF Global.

Jaworek is a member of the Young Deep Cuts Commission (YDCC), the Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security (YGLN), and the Euro-Atlantic Security Leadership Group (EASLG).

She holds a joint master’s degree in transatlantic affairs from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the College of Europe, and a law degree from the University of Hamburg, specializing in European and public international law.
