“It was the Ransomware Task Force, but it was never really about ransomware. That was the pebble in the ocean that we could get people to galvanize around,” she explained. “But we thought, and we do continue to think, that working through some of the measures that will combat ransomware will also have knock-on effects to reduce risks from other threats, including other nation state actors.”
