In this essay, Colonel Elvert Gardner describes the inaugural NC3 Industry Study course at the National Defense University, and the key issues driving the NC3 industry study to identify the readiness of the U.S. industrial base to meet the demand of DoD in modernizing and operating US NC3 systems, and factors that may militate against innovation, and against timely and efficient supply in the US industrial base.
