Dr. Mireya Jurado is a Professional Staff Member on the House Armed Services Committee, where she oversees cyber, information technology, and artificial intelligence issues and supports the development of the annual National Defense Authorization Act. Previously, she held roles in the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE), the Office of the National Cyber Director, the Office of the Army’s Principal Cyber Advisor, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida International University and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with degrees in International Relations and Anthropology.
