John Keefe current serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Texas Cyber Command in San Antonio, Texas. He has a background in national security, intelligence, cybersecurity, and space exploration. His 24-year career in the federal government included senior executive assignments at the National Security Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Security Council, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Mr. Keefe served for 15 years as a senior executive at the National Security Agency, primarily as a senior strategist. He rose to be the Director of NSA’s senior advisor on strategy. His career included stints as senior strategist in NSA’s signals intelligence and cybersecurity missions, where he drove efforts to field new intelligence capabilities. He also served for two years as Senior Director for Cyber Policy at the White House. In this final year of federal service, Mr. Keefe was NASA’s Director of Strategy Integration, where he led efforts to improve alignment between NASA mission directorates and centers.
